They aim to honour those who have died and recognise the freedom we have today.
Dan Barton, the Oxfordshire community artist who founded and leads the charity, said: “Standing With Giants have been overwhelmed by the amazing reactions from Veterans and families of the fallen who visit the installations and share their heartfelt stories with us.”
The art installation, titled ‘The Falklands Tribute’, features 255 life-size figures of seafarers, royal marines, army and airmen, as well as three civilians.
These figures represent those who lost their lives during the 1982 war on the Falkland Islands with Argentina.
The installation was created to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Falklands’ liberation on Tuesday, June 14, 2022.

It has previously been displayed at Thoresby Park, the International Bomber Command and the Royal Armouries Fort Nelson.
At Nothe Fort, the figures will be displayed in and around the fort’s parade ground.
Visitors can walk among the silhouettes and reflect on their significance.
Connie Jenkins-Teague, the events coordinator for Nothe Fort, said: “Nothe Fort is honoured to host Standing With Giants: Falklands Tribute.
“Our parade ground is the perfect environment to host this art installation, and we look forward to seeing visitors walking amongst the silhouettes and reflecting upon the figures.”
Entry to the Standing With Giants Falklands tribute is included in the admission price to Nothe Fort.
There is a concession ticket for veterans and currently serving armed forces personnel, while entry to Nothe Fort will be free for Falklands veterans during the exhibition.
All three levels of the fort will be open to visitors and a visit is expected to take between two and three hours.
