A week-long community art exhibition is set to celebrate nature and local creativity at Railworld Wildlife Haven.

Scheduled for spring 2026, the Wild Art Exhibition will be held from May 24 to 31 in Peterborough.

This exhibition brings together a range of work from amateur artists, photographers, and makers, aiming to highlight the talents of emerging and lesser-known individuals from Peterborough and nearby areas.

The exhibition offers them a platform to showcase their work and gain community recognition.

Inspired by the theme “Wild Art,” the exhibition interprets nature, wildlife, and the environment through various artistic mediums.

Presented by Community Clickers, the Peterborough Together Project, and the Peterborough Embroidery Society, the exhibition is in collaboration with the Railworld Wildlife Haven, which is providing the venue.

The exhibition’s launch day will feature a special classic and modified Car Show on Saturday, May 24.

Organised with support from the Abandoned City Camo Crew, the car show combines art and automotive culture, offering visitors a unique experience.

The founder of the Peterborough Together Project, Dorota Trajdos, said: “This exhibition is about giving a platform to people in our community who are passionate about creativity but don’t always get the opportunity to be seen.

“Wild Art is not just about art – it’s about connection, bringing people together, and celebrating the creativity that already exists around us in Peterborough.”

Wild Art 2026 will showcase a variety of artistic work, including photography, paintings, embroidery, and textile art.

Aimed at being inclusive and welcoming, the exhibition encourages visitors of all ages to interact with art in a relaxed environment.

The exhibition will be open to the public throughout the week, ending on May 31.

While the exhibition itself is free, an entry fee applies to the Railworld Wildlife Haven.

The opening day car show starts at 10.30am.
