Over the coming months, universities and design schools up and down the country will be celebrating the work of their 2026 graduates – and, as ever, we’ve got the lowdown on when and where these showcases are taking place.
For CR’s audience, these shows remain one of the best opportunities to spot emerging talent at the very start of their careers. From graphic design to illustration, photography, product design and beyond, they offer a snapshot of the ideas, aesthetics and concerns shaping the next generation of creatives.
In recent years, that has included a growing focus on sustainability, AI-assisted workflows, speculative design and socially conscious practice – trends that are likely to be even more pronounced across this year’s crop. Alongside the physical exhibitions, expect a strong digital presence too: most courses now accompany their shows with online showcases, making it easier than ever to explore work remotely or follow graduates after the events.
