‘Tronies’ exhibition coming to Fidra Fine Art in Gullane

Running until June 21, the showcase provides a blend of facial expressions and character studies that originated during the Dutch Golden Age.

The gallery has invited about 20 artists with a focus on portraiture to contribute their own interpretations of Tronies, resulting in a mix of traditional and contemporary renditions of this unique art form.

The opening day will allow visitors to meet some of the artists and enjoy refreshments between 2pm to 5pm.
