FARGO — Toddlers in Fargo spent the day immersed in creativity at the Fargo Public Library’s “Wondery Art and Adventure” event.
The event, held Wednesday, Feb. 19, introduced children ages 3 to 5 to fine arts concepts such as color, shape and composition. Hands-on activities, including art projects designed to develop patience and fine motor skills, gave children a chance to explore their creativity in a fun and engaging way.
“A lot of them home school or just regular school, but to come somewhere totally different in your community and use your library to the best of its potential, it’s a great opportunity for them,” said Cindy Liudahl, a children’s librarian at the Fargo Public Library.
The free event also encourages young children to step outside their comfort zones and try new experiences. The next “Wondery Art and Adventure” event is March 20. Parents can register online at
beginning two weeks before the event.
