FACING the fierce investors on Dragons’ Den can be a daunting prospect.
However, Yard Art’s Charlotte Clemence is hoping she can win over the famous Dragons with their company.
Who is entrepreneur Charlotte Clemence?
Together with her good friend Bex Lund, Charlotte Clemence co-founded the small business Yard Art.sfyfull
The talented entrepreneur is also one the company’s main artists and sells her work online.
She grew her passion after she was made redundant from her job in financial HR in the noughties.
After leaving her job, Charlotte’s husband Grant Clemence – who now works runs Yard Art’s Investor Relations department – encouraged her to follow her talent for upcyling and upholstery.

Speaking to West London Living, Charlotte said at the time: “I work with vintage furniture and take them back to their original state using amazing fabrics such as Fornasetti and Missoni.”
What is Yard Art?
Yard Art is a company that provides outdoor wall art that aim to transform garden walls with unique designs.
Started by Charlotte and Bex, the company has grown and now employs many up-and-coming artists.
Speaking about the company, their website says: “Our story began in the summer of 2019 when full-time mothers identified a gap in the market.
“They embarked on a mission to source the highest quality materials that embody luxury, are fade-proof, highly durable, water-resistant, and capable of gracing your garden for years to come.”
When can you watch Yard Art on Dragons’ Den?
Viewers will be able to watch Charlotte, along with her husband Grant Clemence pitch Yard Art on Dragons’ Den on April 4, 2024 from 8pm on BBC One and the BBC iPlayer.
Fans will see them showcase their company in a bid to secure investment from the famous Dragons – Deborah Meaden, Peter Jones, Touker Suleyman, Sara Davies, and Steven Bartlett.

Announcing the news on Instagram, they said: “We have News!!!
“After months of keeping quiet we can now reveal … We’re going to be on Dragons’ Den next week – Thurs 4th April 2024. Tune in to BBC One at 8pm UK time to see what happens.
“Do we succeed or do we not? We can’t say. You’ll just have to tune in to find out.”
Speaking on their website, Charlotte added: “As a small business that started in the pandemic, and being led by two mums who have a passion for art, the garden and the unusual, we hope that the Dragons and viewers will engage with our story when we present on the Dragons’ Den.
“We want them to love our designs, our passion for the alternative and appreciate the bespoke and unusual qualities that our product has to offer.”
The pair will be joined by a whole host of other business owners and inventors, including Peter Michael Taylor.
