This will take place on Thursday, June 26, from 11.30am to 2.30pm, at Yeovil Art Space, in the Quedam Centre.
The group is made up of women who are learning English as a second language and are keen to showcase their progress at the event after being tutored by Helen Patuc.
They will host a picnic with food from their home countries, a book club meeting, a dancing session, a talking circle, and coffee cup readings.
The event is open to the public and is taking place amid an “exciting time” for the women involved.
The group was recently awarded a £150 bursary from Yeovil Art Space, which will be used to manage and implement their ‘takeover’ event.
This is part of a series of events where organisations and community groups take over the art gallery and offer the public some activities.
