Thirlby Art Group (TAG) is marking the occasion with a showcase of members’ artwork at Rural Arts on Westgate in Thirsk.
The exhibition opened on September 16 and runs until September 27, opening daily from 10am to 4pm except Sundays and Mondays.
David Roberts, leader of TAG, said: “It’s a testament to the members’ enthusiasm and talent that it continues as strong as ever.
“We always look forward to our annual exhibition when we have the chance to display our hard work over the past 12 months but it’s even more special for this, our 25th anniversary.”
The display will feature a wide range of styles and media, including watercolours, acrylics, pastels, and linocut prints.
Mr Roberts said: “The themes covered by our artists are wide-ranging and involve nature, landscapes, buildings and even industrial scenes.
“There’s something for all tastes and we really hope it entertains our visitors and provides a lot of interest too.”
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the artists and learn more about their work.
Many of the original paintings will be available for purchase, along with prints and cards.
