Norwich Art Shop has announced that it is closing its store in Upper St Giles Street on August 30.
In a statement, the business said: “It is with a sad heart that we must announce the closure of Norwich Art Shop.
“Unfortunately, due to reasons beyond our control, we have to vacate our lovely premises at the end of August.
“It has been a wonderful nine years and we are so thankful for the community we have built here.

“Our last day of trading will be on August 30, so do pop in to say goodbye.”
Norwich Art Shop is a collective art space shared by more than 20 artists.
Each artist pays rent proportional to the size of their showcasing space and takes turns volunteering to open the galleries and shop to the public.
“We are thankful from the bottom of our hearts for our time on The Lanes,” the firm added. “This is not a goodbye but more of a see you later.”
