The Gather in Ennerdale is hosting an autumnal exhibition featuring the work of a variety of artists.
It is free to attend for visitors to The Gather and is inspired by the landscapes of Ennerdale at this time of the year.
June Pearson, a volunteer who has contributed towards the exhibition, said: “It’s inspired by a poem, The Seasons of Mists and Mellow Fruitfulness, and we used that as a focus for people to do some work about autumn.
“Various people have taken part in making the display, and there is a wide variety of art forms incorporated into it.

“There are a lot of crafts too, like knitting, crochet, painting, and multimedia.
“It has been put together by people from West Cumbria and will be on display for a month.
“It’s something for people to enjoy at this time of year, as right now in Ennerdale, it is magnificent to see the changes to the trees and the leaves falling. So it’s just a little echo of that, really.”
