A constellation of stars from the worlds of art, culture and fashion celebrated the start of Frieze week in London last night, coming together for an intimate party at Mark’s Club, held in celebration of this year’s Bazaar Art, in partnership with Tiffany & Co. The special occasion marked the first event held at the private members’ club since its extensive renovation and reopening.
Guests initially gathered in the ground floor bar and greenhouse, before making their way upstairs to see an exhibition of our four limited-edition cover artworks – specially created by Rana Begum, Lubaina Himid, Sonia Boyce and Zadie Xa – alongside a small-scale model of Begum’s art installation that can currently be seen as part of the Selfridges Windows of Wonder exhibition. The convivial crowd enjoyed Ruinart champagne and Sir Davis cocktails, before heading home in cars courtesy of Jaguar.
