Art in the Dale exhibition to be hosted in Kirkby Malham

The exhibition, which is the fourth in the ‘Art in the Dale’ series, will run for four days, until June 22, at St Michael’s Church.

Visitors will be able to see work by Katharine Holmes, Beverley Hicks, Peter Hicks, Phoebe Scott, Fiona Armer, Jane Midgley, Cindy Metcalfe, Judy Metcalfe, Annabelle Bradley, and members of the Malham Art Group.

Paintings, etchings, drawings, textile work, photography, stained glass, sculpture, and wrought-iron work are all to be expected, and some pieces will be for sale.

A number of exhibiting artists will also be in attendance to talk about their work.

This year, a guest exhibition from The Folly will showcase artwork inspired by the poetry of Jean Harrison.

Kirkby-in-Malhamdale Primary School pupils will also be displaying their bird-themed work, produced in collaboration with children’s book illustrator, Stephen Waterhouse.

The exhibition will be open from 9am to 5pm on each day, except for Sunday, when the exhibition will be open from 10am to 11am.

The exhibition is free to enter, although donations are appreciated.

A brochure with details of each participating artist will be available.
