More than 100 Coachella Valley students are being recognized for their creativity through a special art exhibition connected to Desert X.
The Desert X Art Club Student Exhibition opens Friday at the Melissa Morgan Fine Art Gallery in Palm Desert, showcasing artwork created by elementary and middle school students from across the Desert Sands Unified School District.
The free exhibit will feature a wide range of artistic expression, including paintings, sculptures, and multimedia pieces designed to celebrate young creativity and inspire community engagement with the arts.
The exhibition will be open to the public from May 22 through June 7, with an opening reception taking place Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the gallery on El Paseo.
Organizers say the showcase offers students a unique opportunity to display their work in a professional gallery setting while connecting local youth with the broader arts community.
