Alton, Illinois, upcoming events for Friday and Saturday

ALTON — Mooneyham Art Gallery, located at 305 State St., will host an exhibition titled “Nature Framed and Authenticity Is the New Gimmick” on Saturday, May 9, starting at 5 p.m. 

This dual-artist exhibition features new works by professional wrestler and painter Devin “Itchy” Gable and photographer Carol Bock. Together, “visceral, identity-driven” paintings will be displayed alongside internationally recognized wildlife photography. During the event, guests will be able to enjoy the art alongside dessert prepared by Dolci’s Cafe and Bakery and music performed by Psychedelic Symphony. 

The event is open to the public and free to attend.
