Last week, Hauser & Wirth artist Thomas J Price and other Mobile Art School supporters visited Braemar Primary School in the Cairngorms to launch the project, which aims to improve awareness and appreciation of the arts.

Daniel Sutherland, Associate Dean for Economic, Social and Cultural Development at Gray’s School of Art, said: ‘This three-year partnership with Hauser & Wirth is incredibly exciting. It gives Gray’s School of Art an opportunity to take our practices outside their traditional settings and into the communities on our doorstep.

The custom-built Mobile Art School vehicle is equipped with a range of tools, including VR headsets, laser cutting and 3D printing apparatus, a mobile dark room, interactive electronics, clay tools, jewellery casting facilities and much more.
