The South-West branch of the Guild of Glass Engravers was formed in March 1979 and is still going strong and is the only organisation in the UK specifically dedicated to the art of glass engraving.
Rob Page from the South-West Guild of Glass Engravers said: “Make sure to visit our exhibition of engraved glass in the Fine Foundation Gallery of Durlston Country Park.
“There is plenty to see and do at the park plus something to suit all tastes and ages in the exhibition.
“Entry is free and you can try your hand at engraving too.”
Durlston Country Park’s Shannon Dugdale added: “I’m really looking forward to this ‘Contemporary Engraved Glass’ exhibition, the work is so incredibly detailed and you can see the level of skill in each unique piece of art, perfect for a Christmas gift.”
