UMG UK’s new Pause studio turns music videos into art prints

[ad_1]

What’s your favourite frame from Amy Winehouse’s ‘You Know I’m No Good’? How about Aurora’s ‘Runaway’ or Self Esteem’s ‘The Deep Blue Okay’? If you don’t have a favourite frame from those videos, UMG UK’s latest studio wants to help you find one.

It’s called Pause, and has launched a service that turns moments from music videos into art prints. To use Winehouse’s video as the example, fans can pay £495 for a collector’s edition, choosing from a selection of frames identified by Pause as the key moments. Or they can scrub through the video themselves and choose a frame for prices starting at £65.

With Christmas present-buying season well underway, it’s an apt time to be launching this kind of collectibles service.
