Knutsford artist selected to exhibit at Manchester Art Fair

Knutsford wall sculptor Meredith Bloom will showcase her work at the Manchester Art Fair, which will take place from November 21 to 23.

She is one of eight artists and galleries from Cheshire to be chosen for the event.

Meredith said: “I’m delighted to have been selected to show at Manchester Art Fair this November.

“One of the UK’s largest and most significant art fairs, it’s the perfect platform at which to show my work, which is rooted in the emotional impact of form and colour.

“Each piece begins with an emotion and a feeling I want to evoke in the viewer, a sensory response through structure, shadow, and tone.

“A sense of transformation is central to my work, a piece of art that’s not fixed but continuously revealed through experience and perspective.”

Her work is described as a blend of architectural form, colour psychology, and emotional storytelling through structure and shadow.

Wilmslow artist Eileen Bradbury, a former psychologist who now works primarily in oils, has also been selected for the fair.

Eileen said: “It’s a real honour to have been selected to exhibit at Manchester Art Fair, one of the UK’s largest and most respected art fairs.

“It’s an incredible platform for emerging and established artists.

“I am looking forward to showing my recent work, which aims to evoke feelings of calmness with underlying resilience and strength.”

Sophie Helm, managing director at Manchester Art Fair, said: “The quality and number of applications received for this year’s fair was extremely high, making for an exceptionally difficult selection process.

“To see eight galleries and artists chosen from across Cheshire is a testament to the incredible breadth and quality of creative talent in the region.

“We look forward to welcoming all to this year’s Manchester Art Fair.”
