It will be held at Romsey Town Hall and span five days, beginning on Tuesday, October 28, at 10am, until the conclusion at 4pm on Saturday, November 1.
Celebrating its 20th consecutive year, the exhibition will offer original paintings for sale in a variety of mediums, including watercolour, acrylic, pastel, ink wash, and crayon.
Deviating from tradition, the event’s ‘Best In Show’ accolade will be decided by Hampshire’s professional artist Daphne Ellman.
A quarter of a century ago, she founded the Chilworth Art Group.
Previously, public votes determined this award.
The ‘Best In Show’ painting will be displayed from the opening day of the event, and, unless the artist specifies otherwise, the piece can be bought by anyone.
A broad range of wood-turned items, created by group members from local woods, will also be available for purchase.
The exhibition will grant the public a unique opportunity to engage directly with some of the artists and glean more details about the group’s activities.
