Grade: Freshman.
Age: 15.
Art focus: Video game design.
Adviser nomination: “Aiden came in this year as a new game design student and has done a fantastic job all semester,” adviser Joe Wagner said. “He completed every major game project with A-level quality and worked hard to fix any mistakes that arose. In his group final project, Aiden made some of the best sprites I have ever had a student make in my class. They have a professional look to them and contain a great amount of movement and detail.”
What got you interested in video game design? I like video games and thought it would be neat to make one.
Talk about the project you’re currently working on: I’m working on a video game with a few friends and did most of the sprites with an app called Piskel.
What inspires your designing the most? A lot of my art comes from pop culture. I’ll take concepts from characters or things and add them with other stuff to make new things.
What do you hope to accomplish by the end of the school year? I wish to maintain good grades.
